Yall are so TIRED. Sekhmet was NOT a vampire yes, due to vampires being a mostly European concept, but she was a BLOOD-DRINKER. Which is often modernly compared to vamparism. She rampaged so hard that her rage could only be quelled by tricking her into drinking beer dyed with red ochre and becoming drunk. Sekhmet is a vampire in the sense of being a blood-drinker, not undead, so while it’s incorrect to call her a vampire, she still is one of the worlds earliest depictions of vampire-esque creatures.
