Strictly speaking, Rosalía isn’t singing opera, but a hybrid operatic style. A key difference is that while opera requires continuous vibrato to project over an orchestra, Rosalía uses almost no vibrato, opting for straight tones as a deliberate aesthetic choice. She also maintains her higher, flamenco-trained larynx placement rather than the lowered classical one. I just wanted to point out this structural difference because people often confuse the two.
