Throne of Glass had to be the worst series I have ever read imo. Got to the second to last book like 2 years ago and refuse to go further.

I’ll save folks the trouble on Wheel of Time: read 4 books, nothing happens. One thing happens, then read 6 more books for the next thing to happen. The End

I never see the Inheritance Cycle on these lists, I'm so happy! Been reading since Eragon was published when I was 9, and it def played a role in my love for fantasy. Have you read Murtagh yet?

So many great series all but forgotten now… The Belgariad, The Malorian, Memory, Sorrow and Thorn, The Dragon Riders of Pern… I could go on for ages.

Thank you for mentioning Realm of the Elderlings! I’m on Dragon Keeper right now and it’s such an amazing series with incredible characters, but I never see anyone recommending it!

Is the inheritance cycle style still worth it if you're in your 30s and never read it before? I keep seeing mixed reviews, but they especially tend to point out to it being more suited for kids aged 10-13

Not to mention, Paolini is now continuing the Inheritance Cycle with another series, Murtagh is the first and hes writing the second now. I love the series, 44 and still hits. Also, a great fantasy series not mentioned, The Bone Witch trilogy and Jay Kristoffs Never Dawn series.

Inheritance Cycle mentioned I'm happy although it isn't entirely complete because he has started writing for it again Murtagh has a book and Arya has a book coming with 2 more books planned but no details about what yet but it's about rebuilding the Dragon Riders

This is great! Its so annoying when I ask for recs from people and they tell me to read an unfinished series that hadn't had any progress in like 20 years

I'm fairly certain those descriptions are written by ai, therefore I trust this list 0% despite knowing myself that many of these series are great
