Colleague works 5 hours and get his work done. The 'snitch' works 50 hrs and gets double the work done. That means in 5hrs they would only get a fraction done. Something isn't mathing, they are working 50 very inefficient hours. Yes they should get more recognition and the other one who works should be told off, and given more work allocated since they are the most efficient out of the team.

I would just start putting in the same amount of effort as everyone else if you aren’t being paid for this extra work. You asked to be compensated and they said no, you mentioned the work you contribute, they said no. So you scale down to the other people’s level and spend the extra energy looking for another job.

Sorry, it sounds like James is pulling his weight? We put so much emphasis on working a certain number of hours but if all the work James gets assigned is done how is he not pulling his weight?

So here is the thing.. James is smart. James was hired to do a job and he gets his job done in the expected time. Now will that eventually bite him due to some unexpected thing… sure. But James sounds efficient to me

I’ve been told there’s no money to give me a raise but I watch the owners take luxury vacations 6-8 times a year, new luxury cars every year, but I’m trapped I can’t afford a pay cut to start somewhere else and I can’t find anything making the same or more at start but a lot that make more after a few years

got told by a boss when I wanted a raise for being the receptionist AND THE CODER AND THE BILLER AND HANDLING PRIOR AUTHS AND BEING AVAILABLE WHENEVER THEY NEEDED. I was told "12 dollars an hour is a livable wage and you don't deserve more"
