I see where people are saying depression, but no… it’s not depression. I suffered with depression for years after my husband got killed, but this.. this is different. It’s kind of like knowing that none of this will matter soon anyways & in no way am I implying that I don’t want to be here. It feels like it’s no longer my choice.. like $hit is gonna hit tge fan around us at anytime! So, it makes you feel exactly like you said, “going through the motions.” Just kind of waiting on the ball to drop & the rug to be pulled out from under us. Call it discernment call it what ever you want to, but feeling “off” is DEFINITELY a mild way of putting it.
