Psychological abuse is sometimes worse than any other kind, and much harder to heal from. I feel really bad for her, because even saying please see someone like a therapist would be extremely hard given her situation. I can tell you that you can heal, but it will take time. Trusting someone again is going to be the hardest thing to do.
