It’s insane how close I came to skipping The Lost Mindset Laws by Matt Falkner. This isn’t just another book.

this is exactly how i teach my students. the problem with education is that the system and parents want a quick fix. they want their students to fix it in 1 min. but we have to go back to the basics. i don’t give them my interpretation or analysis bc that’s MY opinion/perspective. i wasn’t always a good writer though. this is the same with fitness. we always think about the “perfect” workout when really, different things work for different people. ofc there r certain workouts that target certain muscle groups but it all starts with: what will u commit to for it to be sustainable? what feels good in ur body? why does ur form look like?

Yeeesss! I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. I like to call it Root Work. Like the roots of a tree or the root chakra. You making a video on it is confirmation I’m on the right track 🙏🏼✨

I mostly agree with the video but this spesific form of thinking also makes you reinvent stuff while making you understand its purpose better. What I mean by that is it might make you draw circles around instead of making you "more productive" at times, so I believe it is a thinking model that is necessary but also a model that needs to be used carefully. Otherwise you might lose yourself in an infinent loop of questioning, while of course understanding some stuff better but being stripped away from action for a long time is also bad

This way of thinking is what separates those who just want the outcome vs those who want the structure from the roots up. Those who only chase the fruit sabotages themselves from the start. This way of thinking requires one to think simple yet deeper and simple thinking leaves no room for excuses.
