@thepolyglotfox: Instead of trying to build discipline, focus on building CONSISTENCY. Discipline becomes pushishment when you too tired to complete your homework, or want to skip your reading practice for the day. Discipline forces you to "do what needs to be done" regardless of how you're feeling. Discipline can be helpful, but can easily lead to burning yourself out. The exact opposite of what we want, and what I support my learners with. Consistency is less about showing up when you don't feel like it, and instead making is easier to show up AND see results. 👉🏾 It's about building a study routine you can actually stick to without pressure. So if you find yourself wimping out, but you know you CAN study today, show up and do the work. If you feel like you're burning out, though, THAT'S when you need a plan for how you can show up anyway, study, and still make the progress you want to see. And this is what we're talking about on Tuesday, March 17th~ We're gonna create your "Language Rescue Plan", together, so consistency becomes easier to build (and you ACTUALLY reach your fluency goals)! Newest workshop of the MIMS (MAKE IT MAKE SENSE) series: Midweek Language Rescue 🛟 You can find the link in my bio~ P.S. QUESTION FOR THE PEOPLE: Do you already have a consistent study routine? Or do you start strong on Monday and struggle to make it to Friday every single week? What usually makes it difficult to stick to your study plans? #languages #MultipleLanguages #Polyglot #LanguageCoach
