I feel like that comment of “you must be with the wrong therapist” is someone that thinks you go to therapy for a while and ‘fix yourself’ and then you’re done. In reality, we are growing and healing and evolving forever… at least we SHOULD be.

Have you ever researched Addiction and Alzheimers? Sadly they are linked. My Mum had clinical depression and battled addiction and was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers. My aunt who was the most pious woman who never drank and farmed her entire life got it as well. She was also diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that we didn't tell her about and she lived for 18 in long term care. I think it is different for everyone 🥺
