Jobs will be eliminated and new ones will be created, more robotics engineers, welders will be needed. Robots making your food, replacing roofs and building homes will be common use of AI - so there will be jobs just different ones and we will adapt as humans as we always have

As a person who worked with AI development his estimates are way too low for job losses. I also read that in a few years net 401k contributions will drop due to all the baby boomers being forced to redeem. That will put huge downward pressure on the index funds.. Hence many banks are predicting returns of only 1.25% per year
