Put a fluffy pink sweater on him. He will still be a jerk but you won’t take him seriously :p you’ll be amazed how well it works!

carry him. We don't keep roosters that can't learn to chill andhave run into a couple it didn'twork for. my teenager thinks carrying roosters is hilarious, so it's his job. He starts carrying them while he does chores as soon as they show the first signs of wanting to be a bit cocky with him. Now they're nice, weird roosters that follow you wanting to be picked up 😂

Check out Rooster Allies on fb! They have tons of great advice. You can post the exact issues in there and they can help. Theres even a podcast. I had a rooster that I carried a shield around for a week and he never bothered me again, and one that had to be seperated with a few hens and reintroduced.

Working on this right now. Someone gave me a rooster bc she couldn’t have them. He’s a DICK. Attacks my legs and feet with gusto.

I agree with the crockpot for taming, they are guaranteed not to reoffend. Also, the instant pot is good

Something that I did for one of mine (he wasn’t vicious but he’d attack my feet and shins) is that anytime he came near me I’d pick him up and rock him like a baby on his back in my arms. He stopped coming near me. You can also try grabbing him each time and carrying him around upside down by holding his ankles. That will calm him down but it should also discourage him from coming at you because he’ll learn that he always loses and gets hung upside down if he does
