Merrell moab 3 mid goretex are the most comfortable/and long lasting hiking boot out there but the Merrell Rouges outperform them for more technical hikes. currently using the La Sportiva Nucleo high IIs and they're great

Don’t buy any of these shoes because some guy online said they are good. Go try them on. See if they fit right etc. All of them have different fit so most likely only a couple of these will actually work for you. Someone who works in an outdoor store.

“Don’t hike the tend” but still only recommends only gortex like it’s a good thing. I feel like these things should be breathable like running shoes. If you step into a puddle your feet are going to be wet anyway
