Imagine spending 18 years of your life in a tower never seeing the outside world,never touched grass,never spoken to anyone but the one person who has you capture, never even knowing what’s out there,no freedom at all, and never knowing for those 18 years you were in a cage without knowing. Imagine the feeling of finding out all the great things u could have done for 18 years instead of being locked away.

the saddest scene in this movie for me was rapunzel’s parents preparing to lift the lantern on her birthday. the queen fixing the king’s clothes, then him shedding a tear and her wiping it away, the silence was so heartbreaking. their pain of losing their daughter was portrayed beautifully and delivered perfectly. i can never move on from this movie, it was such a beautiful take of rapunzel’s story 🥲
