If you don’t think asking people to take off their shoes in your home or not to smoke in your home is controlling but a sign of respect then swearing is no different. Their home their rules. He wasn’t instructing you to never swear again.

Love Prince & lifelong fan..but it’s quite hilarious that he decided later in life to not swear anymore. Most of his earlier work was mind bendingly rude! Like another level inappropriate. Always with humour though. 🥰🥰😂😂
