These gas prices… people in my area say the don’t care too much about gas prices…but they don’t think how ambulances and fire trucks and street maintenance vehicles and school busses all require gas. Paid by taxes.

I'm poor but not poor enough for snap benefits so I have been utilizing my local food pantries to stock up and I have a little money to buy meat today and I will stock up on safe foods for my special needs child I'm worried about all of this thank goodness it's gardening season and I've decided that birthday and Christmas shopping will be done at yard sales garage sales auctions ect not spending money at big box store

Also utilities - the water treatment chemicals are delivered primarily by diesel fueled tanker trucks. I doubt the municipalities will absorb any increased costs…

Plus the lack of corn is a double-edged sword when it comes to gas prices because a lot of our gas has ethanol blended into it.
