I've been addicted to cigarettes and vaping separately. One thing I noticed is I was vaping much, much more often than I was smoking (a cigarette every few hours vs hitting my vape multiple times an hour) due to the convenience of it. This seems to be common with the folks I've met who vape. Do you think frequency of use could expedite related health consequences?

As a smoker I've tried to switch to vaping and I find it really hard because it doesn't hit hard and there's also no natural end. There's no oh smokes done I'll go back inside... you just keep vaping

It may be less dangerous but in my experience it was most certainly more addictive. There were nights I woke up just to vape and then sleep again. That's when I knew it was time to quit

for me vaping is worse then smoking because it is more accessible, meaning I don't have to go outside to light up a cigarette I can just vape inside. And that leads to more nicotine consumption in general.

I want to point out that the deaths from Evali were from weed vapes! Like the ones you get from dealers that aren’t regulated. They contained Vitamin E oil which is what caused it. That’s not in regular nicotine vapes.

It drives me crazy that Canada banned menthol cigarette because it appealed to kids . And now there’s a vape shop on every corner here with every flavor you can think of . In my personal experience … vaping was 10000000% harder to quit than cigarettes . I quit vaping in December and I still crave it every day

I find taping worse because its more accessible, so I hit my vape more often, vs smoking when I would space apart my cigarettes every couple hours. also flavored vapes taste good, which has made them more addictive for me. I could quit cigarettes cold turkey, but its so much harder to quit vapes for me. im on chantix now which has made it a ton easier to quit.

I worked at a creamery 20 years ago. We knew diacytl was harmful if inhaled then. Not sure why vape manufacturers weren't aware.

I was actually talking to the vape person the other day and asked what the difference was between prefilled and juice, said prefilled were all Salt Nic, which has higher nicotine content. so that makes sense.

I've been using vaping to quit smoking. you can control how much nicotine is in your vape. for example, I'm now on 0 nicotine. I expect to stop vaping all together within a few weeks. started this process in January

What happened to the study that found lead in the vapes? They tested three different vapes didn’t know what brand brands they were. And they thought their instruments were contaminated with lead because the lead was so high. They tested them again. What happened to that study?

None of it is safe! Vaping hasn’t been around long enough to get the full scope of the effects. Cigarette smoking was considered safe for 50-60 years before there were rumblings of side effects.
