i always knew i didn’t belong in a 9–5. i just didn’t know i had another option. what hit me wasn’t just the hours. 
it was realizing how much of my life revolved around work. early mornings.
long days.
living for weekends. 
constantly trying to “push through” exhaustion. and eventually, everything clicked. why i always felt mentally drained even when things looked “fine.” 
why i struggled to fully relax. 
why i kept craving more freedom, flexibility, and space to actually enjoy my life. i burned out because i kept forcing myself into environments that didn’t align with the life i wanted long term. 
what i was really searching for was flexibility. not just working online… 
but having more control over my time, location, schedule, and income. that’s what changed everything for me. i don’t think women lack ambition or discipline. 
i think a lot of us are simply reevaluating what success actually looks like. this page exists because i stopped trying to force myself into a version of life that didn’t feel aligned anymore. if you’ve been feeling that way too, you’re probably not alone.
