I understand that everyone is free to have their own opinions about religion, but saying that “every page of the Quran is about hell” is simply not an accurate description of the book. The Quran discusses many subjects: God’s mercy, forgiveness, compassion, justice, personal responsibility, gratitude, prayer, and how people should treat one another.
Hell is mentioned as a warning within a much larger message that also includes repentance, hope, and forgiveness. One of the most repeated descriptions of God in the Quran is “Ar-Rahman” and “Ar-Rahim” — The Most Merciful, The Most Compassionate — and many chapters begin by emphasizing that mercy.
People can criticize or disagree with a religion, but reducing a sacred text of hundreds of pages to “it’s only about hell” is an oversimplification and creates a misleading picture. If we are going to discuss the Quran, it should be done with respect and with accurate information.
