I have so many head cannons about these two thank you for coming to my ted talk he remembers her birthday and sends her a happy birthday text on her birthday, it's Ashley's favorite Happy Birthday text she gets every single year cuz it means Leons is still alive kicking butt somewhere. The week of their anniversary of meeting he's her security guard for the week. It helps them both find peace during such a jumpy time. Ashley became a great leader of some type, a teacher or a politician, something with being a trailblazer or pathfinder because of Leon being such a great leader to her. They never really talk about their time from the past but some of their old jokes have survived from during that time, including making the castle joke and bingo joke. Gosh I just love these two so much 😭😭
