Christmas 2024- He wanted to stay home instead of doing my traditional Christmas with my family and his mom. I stayed with him because he’s my husband, even though it really felt like I was sacrificing the only tradition I have. We also had talked about not exchanging gifts just to have a simple, relaxed time, but he said he actually wanted to do gifts. No problem, except come Christmas morning I find out that he didn’t bother to get me anything at all while he’s got three VERY sentimental and thoughtful gifts. I was crushed and experienced for the first time that I wasn’t worth the effort for something as simple as an Amazon order.

Yeaaaa, I was the pursuer now I don’t care if we talk or not lol so now I take days to respond back, not to be spiteful but I’m just not putting in the effort anymore. I put all that effort I used to put into him into myself. And things have been feeling good since I started checking out 😁

This is so helpful you have helped me to realize how my relationship was dysfunctional and I am very much like your husband and my partner is like you and I am glad I caught my self early I started to smother her but then I found your videos and it helped me to realize that it not a good idea to keep doing that and I am moving forward using your advice
