Let’s get this out of the way Daemon wasn’t politically worst than Daeron. He was one of his most trusted advisors and grew up learning pen and sword. People wanted him to rebel but he didn’t he only rebelled because Daeron tried to arrest him just because people whispered. Daemon wouldn’t have been a worst king or necessarily a better king but he wasn’t a bad option at all. Let’s be real knowing the unworthy he probably did want him to be king because he hated his son.
