@alejandromatias674: If you want stronger, healthier hips, you do not always need complicated exercises. Sometimes a few simple movements done consistently can train the muscles that stabilize your hips and knees. Start with single leg marches or controlled leg swings. Performing about ten reps on each side trains the hip flexors for both strength and control. Your hip flexors are responsible for lifting the leg during walking, running, and climbing stairs. Research on gait mechanics shows that stronger hip flexors improve stride efficiency and help stabilize the pelvis while you move. Next, add standing kickbacks or a single leg hip hinge. These movements activate the glutes, especially the glute medius, which plays a major role in hip stability and knee alignment. Studies on lower body biomechanics show that a strong glute medius helps prevent the knee from collapsing inward and improves balance during single leg activities like walking, running, and climbing. Now include medial and lateral leg swings. These train the muscles on the inner and outer thighs. The adductors and abductors are important for controlling side to side movement and stabilizing the hips during daily activities and athletic movement. Research in sports medicine consistently shows that strengthening these muscles improves joint stability and reduces injury risk. Finally, try holding a horse stance. This position builds endurance in the quads, inner thighs, and glutes while also improving hip mobility. Isometric holds like this have been shown to improve muscular endurance and tendon stiffness, which helps joints stay stable under load. The takeaway is simple. Train the hips in multiple directions. Flexion. Extension. Lateral movement. Stability. When you build strength and control in all these patterns, your hips become more resilient, your knees feel more stable, and your movement becomes smoother and more efficient.

Well I do The hip hinge literally just to pickup small objects “all the way” on the ground 😂 & riding a horse for an hour bareback or under saddle up to 4 hours is a morning routine I’ve missed
