For everyone that’s saying they were babysitting at 11 years old. She took the 11 year old with her. She left the 6 year old and 3 year old home alone

Yes what she did was wrong but they should’ve given her a break. She didn’t look drunk or high. She might just be a single mom who needs help not jail.

when my oldest daughter was 11, she asked if she could stay home by herself, rather than being babysat. i live in ohio and I looked up the rules and regulations of a minor staying home alone. THERE IS NO LAW ON AGE. it actually depends on your child. do they know what to do in case of an emergency? can they cook their own food and clean up after themselves? so it's all about responsibility and awareness of the child
