@philippinestar: Presidential Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro responded to Vice President Sara Duterte's statement that Filipinos are angry over the detention of former president Rodrigo Duterte in The Hague, Netherlands to face charges of crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court. "Galit ang mga tao. Isang taon na silang galit, at hindi huhupa ’yung galit hanggang hindi maibalik dito sa Pilipinas si dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte," Vice President Duterte said in a statement on the first anniversary of her father's arrest. "Gaano karaming tao ang galit? Dahil itong pagpapadala kay Duterte sa The Hague, ito ang unang hudyat para mabigyan ng hustisya, hindi lamang po ang mga biktima ng EJK, pati na rin ang dating pangulong Duterte," Castro replied.
