So essentially each philosophy is one built on top of another challenging each belief and elaborating on what, why, and how?

Video too short. Left out Pre-Socrates like Zeno, Parmenides and Heraclitus and modern day Existentialist like Camus, Satre and de Beauvoir. Great job though

Everybody has their own philosophy - that is their opinion of life, which is shaped by their own unique experiences. I’m not talking about “life is just about breathing air” type philosophies, I am talking about how each of us has our own unique interpretation of life it self which is dictated by thought, emotion, mood, and other such factors.

I would summarise it as 'speculation about the unseen (metaphysical)'. It has contributed no knowledge to humanity ever.
The foundation of knowledge requires accepting God and revelation (based on phenomena datum) and building a picture of the world fusing that with empiricism eg science leaving philosophy redundant.

Nietzsche and machiavelli honestly the greatest philosophers I'd put dostojevski up there too but these for me are the two greatest. Epicurus is amazing too

Kant cracked open one of philosophy’s most radical doors, the idea that consciousness can never access reality directly, only a constructed version of it. That insight was quietly mirrored in Eastern traditions like Vedanta and Taoism for millennia, and a grand unification was almost within reach. Schopenhauer nearly pulled it off, mapping Kant’s unknowable noumenal onto Eastern ideas of a fundamental undifferentiated substrate beneath all experience. Then Nietzsche took a different fork, not closing the door, but pulling philosophy toward human will and meaning-making instead. The 20th century followed him there, and the Logical Positivists slammed the window shut on anything smelling of mysticism. Wittgenstein gave us a clue though; if language is scaffolding and not the building itself, then the limits of language are not the limits of reality.

bro no hate, but your account is a philosophy account and you made a video about the history of western philosophy in 5 minutes but completely left out the crucial bridge between ancient western philosophy (Socrates, Plato etc) and pre modern, post renaissance western philosophy which was the very people who preserved ancient Greek philosophy, expanded on it and translated it into Latin which led to pre modern western philosophers.
Ibn Rushd, Ibn Sina and Al - Farabi etc.
