All we seem to do is work harder to earn more, only to be taxed even more on that effort. It feels like a cycle where progress is penalised rather than rewarded. How is that fair? At times, it’s hard not to feel frustrated with a system that seems to take more than it gives back

What you're failing to see is that the resale value of EV's is piss poor. If you buy an EV today you've LOST 56% as soon as the front wheels touch the road, so in other words, if you buy an EV at $60K, you've just lost $33,600 when it hit's the road. So, when this crisis is over and the EV market becomes flooded, you can then expect resale value LOSS between 55%-75%, as most hypes of this nature is government fed, and NOT real world expectations.
