as one of the lead engineers on the dark matter program the breakthrough was rewriting electromagnetic topology we merged axial and radial flux into a raxial flux design then locked the rotor magnets in a halbach array inside a filament wound carbon fiber sleeve baked in an autoclave that sleeve pre compresses the rotor so hard it doesnt expand a single micron at 9000 rpm keeping the magnetic air gap mathematically perfect we also threw out standard 3 phase power and built a 6 phase silicon carbide inverter with laser welded rectangular copper hairpins in the stator giving us a 92 percent slot fill and we pump chilled dielectric oil directly through the stator slots to pull heat out at the source the result is 800 horsepower and 922 pound feet of torque from a motor that weighs only 86 pounds with zero torque ripple and no need for a reduction gearbox

Im curious. If its this light, why put a v8 in it? Slap the same weight as the v8 but with the dark matter. Could have worlds 1st 10k plus hp!!!
