Best way to get to Bkk city: Take the Airport Rail Link - 45 THB, 30 minutes, buy ticket at B Floor ( Basement) get off at Phaya Thai station.

there’s an airport link inside the airport (like subway) and it makes you to various stops! you can take that out of the airport and continue on a taxi!

Go down to the lowest floor and you’ll find the taxi service it’s super convenient. There’s just a small service fee of 50 THB (about $1.5). I’m Thai and I use this taxi service all the time. You don’t even have to wait in line because there are hundreds of taxis lined up. It’s very well organized.

it all well saying take a rail link .but let say you got heavy luggage and kids.train isn't a good idea..yes I know someone going to say what if traffic is bad during rush hrs..it may take longer to get to hotel or BNB. there no easy way ok.

The thing is that the taxis rarely want to go by the meter. They ask a price, which is higher than what the meter would show and then you have to negotiate. Also, sometimes it is difficult to explain to the taxi driver where exactly you want to go. With Grab, no explaining and no bargaining. It’s worth the wait.

I used to take grab. But my friends who live in bkk told me to do taxi after I told them jus to wait for the grab to “drive to you” took almost an hour? From then on ticketed taxi or now, the limousine service with fleets of electric cars …is about the same fee. 😂😅

You are doing it wrong. You order the grab, wait in the building with AC, and when the driver is close to pickup point you go out and get in. Easy. It’s just not clever to stand there in 35C waiting for the car to come
