i’ve been platinum for years full heads of highlights and tried multiple times to go darker and it washes out immediately or turns super warm just before washing out. how the heck do all the blondes get this?! i have been trying for years to go darker and it literally doesn’t work. i’ve been to my stylist for 15 years and tried 2 on the side to see if it was her products and it was the same results!! any insight? i even didnt add any bleach for 1.5 years to see if it would stick better to my natural and the exact same results. same thing anytime i tried to add a lowlight .. gone in a few washes but turns orange before it goes.

As a fellow cool-toned girly, I wish I had more hairstylists teach me this when I was younger. I remember wanting this golden blonde hair this other girl had (but the other girl was warm-toned), so on me it looked horrible and at the time I didn’t know why…. Knowing your skin undertones is needed when changing hair colors!!
