A couple of years ago a pastor in the US did his service one week. The congregation started complaining saying that the service was too "woke" and "leftist"....it was the Sermon on the Mount. They don't like their own teachings 😂

Even if they read it they won't change. Talking to my mother in law who is very devoted she usually goes to church very often I asked her the other day if she reads the Bible she said she does evey single day. So I asked her why she doesn't pray and fast like Jesus did. She said well there's no reason to follow old traditions any more. I asked her but who command not to follow old commands. She had no response. In conclusion, people don't feel comfortable following Jesus's teachings. It's not about knowledge it's about desire.

I was brought up Catholic.. gran died at 16 and stopped believing etc became a spiritualist.. lately been looking for god again :) can u give me some guidance towards that 🙏 I feel lost and intermittent fast naturally 😌 I feel close to god at times but not putting it into practice and I won't go back to the bible xx
