@luffy_jems: 4 things I’d tell a beginner runner Everything is individual and situational, but my clients and I have been making solid progress with running lately. Save this for when you finally start! #runningtips #runninghack #beginnerrunning #runmotivation #fyp
I have a question. I only started running last week and I can do 5km and 10km, but I can't run continuously it's like every 800m-1.5km I feel tired so I'll walk for a few seconds to a minute and then start running/jogging again. Is that normal? or do I need to lower my pacing or something

the second slide helped me a lot. Im so stuck in 5Km and I wonder when I'll get better at this and starts being fun. (I feel great afterwards but not when I'm actually doing it)

I never liked banana before til I entered my running girl era 🏃🏻♀️. Its true that its okay to start slowly. Beginner runners should focus more on building endurance than speed. I do running 2x weekly. 1 song = run, next song = walk (I do it alternately)

Start slow is probably the most important lesson I learnt. I’m still running slow but my pace went from 13m/km to 8m/km - but it still feels slow. If I can’t even say a sentence I’m probably too fast

tip 2 and especially tip 3 are huuuge. once I internalized 3 I felt so much joy running at a 15-16 minute mile pace knowing that it was contributing to a long-term goal
