will say it's R rated, but ya a lot of people aren't going to like it because of the MC and I dont see a problem with that opinion. I personally like the world building and characters aside from rudeus, but admittedly he's still wierd 3/4 of the way through the LN

I would even argue LNs are generally easier to understand because a lot of the nuance and wordplay of language gets lost in translation and the prose and flow of LNs suffers greatly
