@arcparanormal: Haunted (now closed) restaurant! Part 3 of 3 of my Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania videos. This restaurant has all the haunts! History: First built in 1847 as a private residence it was turned into an Inn when the railroad came to town. First it was the William Penn Inn then it went by the Mansion Hotel. It later turned into just a restaurant most famously as Durango’s- I am sure I missed a few over the decades. Lastly, it became The Iron Stone before it became up for sale recently. There are claims that this location houses the victims of the Rhoads Opera House Fire. Which is one of America’s worse fire disasters. However that fact is disputed. What isn’t is that his place has seen numerous deaths of its own. It even has some deaths tied to this location. One of the Pervious owners, Henry Binder, perished in the Rhoads Opera House fire. One of the guests ended his own life with a straight razor. A traveling salesmen often stayed here decided to take his life off site due to his love and respect for it. There are others too. Hauntings: This place has it all. White mists have been captured on many photographs. Wait staff have reported their hair being brushed by phantom hands. Heavy freezer doors are pushed closed. Cases of beer are knocked over. A hockey helmet flew across the room. Phantom footsteps are often heard. This place is a hotspot. Whenever it opens again come spend sometime with the spirits of this location…whoever they are.
