Marx convinces me in "German Idealism" (chapter Saint Max), but Stirner still has some points 😁

The problem starts when you adhere Hegel's unrealistic idea of dialectic.

Interesting, thank you.
Room for both to have some validity unless we turn both theories into spooks.

Have you noticed how similar young Samuel Beckett and Stirner look? How their radical departures from mainstream have similarities also? Weird. But we see unexplainable concurrences frequently. One example: Nabokov's Bend Sinister and Kafka's The Castle. or what about the rise of absurdism? Spooks, another word for egregore. We build them. We do.

Stirner's argument falls apart when looked at critically. It is not man's way of thinking of these concepts that gives them power but them having power over man. The state is only authority of backed by guns, by consequences, morality is only useful as long is it preserves society, making it easier for collective and individual survival. These are social relations given names by man, but by no means do they originate in thought, but through material necessity.
