I’ve been to football games in a lot of places, but this was something different. The energy, the passion, the chants, the sea of blue… it was impossible not to get caught up in it all. What impressed me most wasn’t just the atmosphere, though. It was how welcoming everyone was. For a gringo at his first Cruzeiro game, the fans made it easy to feel like part of the experience.
