It's all space. My FDM printer takes up half a desk, and I can use the other half for working. My resin printer has a smaller footprint, but then I need a cleaning station and a curing station, then I have to clean the whole area all the time

As a casual hobby, resin printing is going to be too much pre/post processing, including clean-up and ensuring safe ventilation. I think that is a large part of the reason people stay away from it (aside from the start-up cost☠️). Resin is far superior in quality of fine details, but it’s not for everyone.

proto type at home then produce down in China JLC 3d prints works really well and is more cost affective than myself producing them
