Not eating enough protein Hair is primarily made up of keratin (a type of protein) Chronically low protein intake can push hair follicles into the shedding phase. Aim for .75-1g per pound of body weight. 2. Prolonged calorie deficit/weight loss phase Rapid weight loss, restrictive dieting or chronic under eating can trigger periods of hair loss even 4-6 months after. I’m seeing a huge influx of clients on a GPL1 with hair loss. If your body is struggling and needs to conserve energy, hair is not essential and will suffer. 3. Ignoring Scalp Health Your scalp ages 6X faster than the skin on our face so having a routine like you would for your face is essential for healthy growth. everyone has a different number of hairs they can shed a day, based on how many hair follicles you have. also, brush before you wash and it will minimize this.
lastly, this isn't even that much hair.
