@hannah.jungle: My daughter was refused a passport on our first application. She has no birth certificate, so they asked for something called a statutory declaration. We refused, as it creates a "person" just like the birth certificate. But this time round, I have given one, but with our terms and conditions to protect her from the effects of the person.
