A wonderful person once told me not to apologize, but to thank people instead. For example, if I'm running late, I don’t say “I’m sorry I’m late” - I say “Thank you for waiting for me". Isn't this an amazing advice?🙌

Actually, if you're late. do NIT apologize for being late. INSTEAD, say "thank you so much for waiting for me." or "I appreciate your patience". This puts people in a state of forgiveness instead of anger because you met them with gratitude and confidence.
