For what its worth, its not just this (see the introduction of automatic farms, etc). The removal of the grind is a good 40% on why monster hunter hasnt been good since 3u at the absolute latest

the only time i really had to grind in my mhfu play thru was for one of the dragonslayer recipes, it was like 5 rathalos and rathian plates and ts had taken so long 😭
