One of my side hustles is repairing and calibrating g-counters used as part of a medical physics program at hospitals n vet clinics. They are used to check for leakage of Xray and PET scanner units. Primarily Ludlum 14C's or 3's! Check smoke detectors(Americium) or old Coleman lantern mantles(Thorium).
