As soon as the sun heats up the plastic soffit it will move and dislodge. Looks neat though 👌

I can’t comment on whether sealing soffit to brick is commonplace but I have sealed upvc window to brick and made a mess. I’m only talking from a diy point. If I’d have seen this I would have been better placed to do it properly. I think this is a great finish. I appreciate the vid

jede Silikonfuge reisst früher oder später auf. Von daher hätte ich es nicht versiegelt, zumal es sich hier um einen überstand handelt und wohl nie Feuchtigkeit eindringen wird. Und davon abgesehen arbeitet Plastik bei Temperaturschwankungen extrem.

It’s better if you slanted the gun at a sharper angle , to stop the gun from stopping and starting when applying silicone
