That is factually incorrect. You do more harm by shifting at low rpms. Low rpm torque is bad for your engine. Ofc you shouldn’t be on the red for extended periods of time but it help to clean out the exhaust and filters. Catalytic converters also experience much more buildup at low rpms because of the imperfect burning.

its called a redline for a reason, its to keep the engine save and not overrevving it. dont do it to often but its not gonna blow up after 5 times
