@elliemaehunn: The Ultimate Steak Sandwich 🥩 🌿 Serves 2👇🏼 2 ciabatta rolls 2 sirloin steak Garlic aioli 1 large onion 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar Rocket Parmesan Chimichurri : 30g parsley 1 red chilli 1 garlic clove 4-5 tbsp olive oil 3-4 tbsp red wine vinegar 1tsp oregano 1tsp honey or hot honey Salt and pepper ~ finely slice onion, add butter to a pan and then add the onion, cook on medium-high heat stirring consistently whilst you prepare your chimichurri ~ chop your parsley, chilli, garlic and add to a bowl with olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, honey, salt & pepper ~ add your balsamic to the onions and keep on a low heat until you are ready to plate up. Keep stirring and they will keep caramelising whilst you prep. ~ cook your sirloin to your liking. I cook a thick cut on a high heat on each side until a good sear, then place in foil and place in the oven on 150 degrees for approx 7 mins. ~ to assemble, cut your ciabatta, layer with aioli, your onions, rocket, Parmesan, steak and chimichurri. ~ enjoy!!!! Usually there is some chimichurri left over for extra dipping 🤤 #steaksandwich

Looks good. Two tips. Toast that ciabatta. It’ll stop the bread going soggy, and next, separate the leaves from the stem before chopping. Better flavour and you’re not eating a load of chopped stem!
