some really good stuff, however just because the feudal contract has universal basic income does not mean it is the only system that has ever wanted equality for others. nor does it mean the feudal system was actually doing a good job of it. asking the government to supply more basic needs with the taxes we supply is not special to having a king, and does not mean that's what people are asking for whatsoever. a king is not an integral part of socialism or communism, which desires to create a more equal society for the working class. also, just because one article has a quote about one guy talking about universal basic income, does not in anyway mean that most of the people in the movement want that.

I see where ur coming from about the feudal contract and the king, but i think the context of the US not being a monarchy and that ideally the people handing out the universal income are also reliant on it. Its difficult since power always accumulates, but a decentralized mode of universal basic needs being met is what people want but it doesn’t roll of the tongue like no kings
