1. Time saving if you are good at crochet. It may get faster once you get used to it. It’s not hard but can be a learning curve 2. You do not have to do human hair. Synthetic will work however just get some type of gel (gorilla snot or braid gel or got to be gel) to coat the hair so it doesn’t tangle as much. 3. Knowing how to braid will make it slightly faster since you’re not a newby. 4. I dont know about the take down process as I have done the style but from the videos I watched, it’s ok. The curly hair should just slid off as you are unbraiding. You could probably cut the hair out to make it easier then just unbraid unless you tryna save the hair

1. Time saving especially once you get the swing. Def fastest as not a beginner 2. Synthetic is fine!!! But prepare to detange a lot 3. Knowing how to braid will make it even faster. Makes a 2 day hairstyle 1 day. 4. Take down is easy as hell, you just take the braid out and the pieces should slip right out.

I can braid. I’ve been braiding my own hair since the 90s. I tried miracle knots with synthetic hair first, and the experience was NOT great. I finally caved and bought some of the feather crochet human hair pieces (from QVR Hair, and on sale), and it was soooo worth it. They’re faster and easier to crochet in than braiding in loose hair, and you can wash and reuse them over and over. I’ve also used them in boho braids and Senegalese twists. So, my advice is to get the human hair. The feather crochet hair, specifically. Regarding upkeep, if you hate natural frizz, you won’t like miracle knots. Don’t make the braids tooooo small, and you’ll be fine.

I have than in rn! 1 you could probably get synthetic hair but I have human hair in and it tangles quite a bit so I can imagine it'll just be worse with synthetic hair 2 it took me at less time than regular box braids but I wouldn't describe it as truly time saving cause it does still take awhile 3 knowing how to braid does make it take less time but again it takes awhile especially if you do small parts 4 idk about the takedown process I've been meaning to take mine down but I haven't yet bc i don't have the time rn

A few years ago I did something similar but since I had locs. I just crocheted the bits of hair in my locs. Take some time, but I didn’t know exactly how they crochet in my hair. It’s not the same exact thing, but I don’t have any other experience with this. Also, some bits of the hair got stuck into my locks because I didn’t know how to take it out, so I cut some of them off. I don’t know I don’t remember what hair I used. I’m not sure if this is useful.

make sure you have the type of hair that can hold a braid without something being put at the end when it's braided up by itself. because I tried it and the hair literally just pulled until it unraveled my actual braid and fell out.

your hair looks so pretty 🥰 no idea what miracle knots are so can't help there. every time I add hair to my head it slides out so those styles never worked for me. hopefully the ones who know hair can help
