@hardfork: On this week's episode of "Hard Fork" from The New York Times, the hosts, Casey Newton and Kevin Roose, discuss recent research in the Harvard Business Review that found that workers are increasingly experiencing “A.I. brain fry.” Hear the full story at youtube.com/hardfork. #Tech #technology #hardfork #ai #brainfry #aibrainfry
yeah, problem when working is AI can give you info very quickly and you take what you need and repeat, but you don't really let what you are learning take root, in my experience with data science

Interesting research, but we shouldn't see AI as a "life force" drain. If humans stay in control and we treat AI as a tool for coordination, it should be boosting productivity, not causing "brain fry." It’s all about how we choose to use it.

It’s ironic. I work at BCG, and they have been heavily pushing AI internally, so much they have also done some micro-layoffs as a result.
