@orthodox.gracee: The biblical manuscripts, particularly of the New Testament, far outnumber those of the Odyssey, for exemple. There are over 5,800 Greek New Testament manuscripts and over 24,000 in other languages, compared to roughly 2,000 total for Homer’s works (Iliad and Odyssey combined). The works of Homer have significantly fewer copies than the manuscripts of the Bible, with many dating much later than the originals, and yet people trust it more ?
