@jesskbacon: Representation of all bodies on-screen is so important if we’re to challenge this perception that anyone above a size 8/10 is “plus size” or seen as “too big” on-screen. I think Nicola Coughlan spoke so well on the subject in her interview with @elleuk and I loved covering this for @stylistmagazine this week, after she was labelled incorrectly as plus-size after Bridgerton season 3. If a size 10 is seen as “big” where does that leave plus size women? Who have been completely removed from the conversation about representation on-screen. I think it’s exhausting and reductive to be talking about women’s bodies, but in an age that glorifies thinness and Ozempic, it’s important that we don’t erase real plus-size bodies from the picture as they exist and deserve to be in stories of love, adventure and hope. ♥️ #midsize #bridgerton #penelopefeatherington #whattowatch #plussizemodel
