You forgot telling management that you need to patch and restart a production server with a 1200 day uptime that’s been out of warranty for at least 6 years and that the RDP gateway is going to collapse unless you switch to a S2S VPN, and no one listens to you because “it’s working fine right now,” all the while your on prem domain controller is consistently dying and also happens to run DNS on the same virtual machine that you’ve been saying needs to be replaced for the last 4 years.

level 2 IT at corporate here love my job no micromanagement I just used Claude AI to code a powershell script to configure laptops for me and yes we will be getting intune soon we are a small corporate office currently 220 employees but for now I image all laptops by hand using USB stick and my powershell script that consist of install all apps I drop in a particular folder then changes product key to enterprise then changes power settings then changes wall paper and ofcourse lastly uninstall that new outlook in win 11 lol

Hey IT tip here - I saw you using Dell image assist to image the machine, if you inject the drivers while restoring, it’ll be less waiting while doing the windows updates 😉
